Meet The Man Behind BearDRAFTING

Hey, I’m Baron Draughon, owner and CEO of BearDRAFTING. Born and raised in North Carolina, I grew up the son of a general contractor and went on to receive my Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering and Technology from WCU.
I harness my complimentary knowledge of mechanical and architectural structures to create clean, concise, and accurate designs. Utilizing traditional and modern drafting techniques, I design for a variety of project types, making me a great addition to any team or individual in need of contract design services.
I solve problems and make things easier for my customers, colleagues, and friends. I connect the dots of your project to ensure that nothing gets left unnoticed. Depending on the scope of your project, I may work with other reputable contractors and engineers to ensure your design objectives are met in a timely and professional manner.
My 15+ years of experience only serves to strengthen your project or business. Between designing the perfect dungeons and dragons table for a friend to installing solar panels on my house, constructing a second-story porch, and drafting the perfect camping shovel, my mind never stops coming up with new and innovative ideas. Basically, I live and breathe design so you don’t have to.
Outside of operating BearDRAFTING, I am most often spotted in the wild – that is to say, the outdoors. I enjoy hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, and van camping and my adventure buddy, Otter, usually hops on board for the ride.
